Downeast Comfort and Care is a specialized End-Of-Life and Bereavement support service dedicated to the families of Washington County, Maine.
My work as an End-of-Life & Bereavement Coach was born from a simple desire: to ensure that no neighbor has to walk this path without a steady hand to hold. I am offering "Comfort for the Journey, Care for the Soul" and I would be honored to help create a peaceful transition through this heart-heavy time.
As a mother, a student of psychology, and a trained medical professional, I bring a unique blend of clinical understanding and deep emotional empathy to your table. I am not here to replace your doctors or your hospice team; I am here to stand in the gap—to advocate for your wishes, to hold space for your stories, and to handle the details so you can simply focus on being present with those you love.
As a Certified Medical Assistant and former House Manager at an assisted living home, I provide a bridge between complex healthcare systems and the emotional needs of families. I offer an empathetic, steady hand to help navigate administrative hurdles and ensure that your dignity and agency remain the priority during life’s most delicate transitions.
My foundation in healthcare began early, through the Health Careers Academy in high school, where I completed a clinical internship at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP). This early immersion sparked a lifelong dedication to patient advocacy that continues today in my work across Washington County
My studies in Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University allow me to offer grounded, heart-centered bereavement support. Whether I am helping an adult child navigate care for an aging parent or providing companionship and grief strategies to someone processing a loss, my goal is to simplify the path so families can focus on what matters most.
Downeast Comfort and Care is built on a foundation of professional advocacy and a lifelong dedication to ensuring that no one in our rural community has to walk the path of transition or grief alone.
***While I advocate and coordinate, Downeast Comfort and Care provides non-clinical support and does not provide medical advice or treatment.***
